Staffing Agency Policy

It is Cree’s policy to utilize our Vendor Management System (VMS) to source candidates for certain job vacancies.

Our goal is to encourage search specialization and reduce the supplier base to a selected number of staffing vendors. As certain vacancies arise, candidate searches are assigned to approved staffing vendors only. These staffing vendors are viewed as an extension of the Vendor Management System and are expected to work directly through the Vendor Management System.

Cree Inc. has completed the selection of approved vendors and suppliers for 2009. If you are interested in being considered as a staffing vendor in 2010, please mail the following information to our VMS manager (address listed below):

  • Agency name, location and specialization (Engineering, Power, Finance, IS, Administration, Sales, Marketing)
  • Contact information
  • What makes your agency the best fit for Cree?
  • References

    Any candidate information disclosed to Cree Inc. without having a valid agreement in place will be considered free. As a result, all rights to compensation are forfeited in the event an unsolicited candidate is hired. Furthermore, the opening of unsolicited mail/e-mail does not constitute Cree’s acceptance of any term or agreement to do business with an agency, including but not limited to, the payment of any fee in connection with any unsolicited resume received by us.

    Be advised that Cree Inc. does not consider any fee based search to be valid until an employment agreement has been executed by Cree’s VMS manager and the VMS manager has conveyed specific search criteria to the agency.
