SUMMARY:

Process technician will be part of an engineering team developing and sustaining LED packaging processes in an R&D environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Independently perform various aspects of LED packaging and test

· Operation of automated pick&place systems, wirebonders, dispensing systems, etc

· Apply judgment for implementation of standard process changes to resolve process variations.

· Test devices; visual inspection; organize data; provide critical data summaries to engineering team.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

· AA in technical field or significant applicable experience required.

· Minimum 2 years experience in semiconductor industry.

· Must have physical dexterity and mobility, including standing or sitting for prolonged periods.

· Excellent attention to detail and able to focus on bringing jobs to completion is essential.

· Ability to read, interpret and follow engineering specifications.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· Self-motivated, flexible-minded individual.  Must be eager to perform a variety of job duties and learn new processes as needed for cutting-edge product development. Enjoys working efficiently with minimal supervision.

· Fast learner of multi-tool, multi-step processes. 

· Good written and oral communication skills.

· Strong computer skills and comfortable working with MS Office software applications.
