Responsible for providing prompt and friendly service to all of the guests of the Food Outlet in an efficient, courteous and professional manner displaying a high standard of customer service. Must be familiar with all Buffet choices and able to answer any guest questions, knowledgeable and in a courteous and patient manner. Demonstrates the ability to handle varying business with assistance. Food preparation including but not limited to; hot and cold food prep, specialty area prep, ensure proper portion control, and plate or Buffet presentation of food product. Rotates all food in assigned refrigerators and places all food in clean containers labeled and dated. Reports any spoilage or shortage to Sous Chef immediately. Demonstrates ability to maintain designated station in a neat and orderly manner by practicing safe food handling and sanitation utilizing the necessary chemicals. Should be familiar with the menus, ingredients, methods of cooking and preparation time for all items during assigned shift. Checks all food for taste, temperature and eye appeal. Must strive for a picture perfect presentation by completing all assigned duties on Food Outlet checklist during shift. Assist with the employee meal preparation as directed. Responsible for maintaining food safety and monitoring the constant compliance with all Board of Health regulations. Utilizes all safety equipment as mandated by the position. Must be able to read and follow written and verbal guidelines for safe use of chemicals according to MSDS regulations. Complies with all department and company rules, regulations, policies, procedures, internal controls and government rules and regulations. Able to lead and direct others as a team player in the Food and Beverage Department. Promotes positive public and employee relations. Performs other duties as assigned.• High school diploma or GED equivalent with a minimum of 1 year related experience.
• Must be familiar with prep sheets.
• Must wear clean provided uniform, hair net/hat and non-skid shoes.
• Physically strong
• Must be able to work with others as a team player.
• Minimum 18 years old.
• No recent felony convictions.
Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, & holidays.
