Responsible for the extraction of all currency and Tito tickets from the Video Lottery Terminals on the gaming floor. Responsible for the removal of full cash boxes out of the Video Lottery Terminals and the replacement of empty ones to the designated terminal by using a bar code system in the count room. The full cash boxes are placed in a cart, which is taken to the count room where the currency and Tito tickets are verified, counted, sorted, strapped and wrapped. Responsible for counting all currency and Tito tickets accurately and the ability to distinguish between different money dominations for sorting purposes. Must have a clear understanding of procedures for money handling in accordance with internal controls. Must be able to lift and display empty cash boxes at eye level with count partner and Surveillance personnel. Must have knowledge of count cards to coincide with each cash box. Must be able to stand and maneuver in a confined area and to communicate by hand and oral signals. Must have the ability to work efficiently and quickly without errors. Protects company integrity and assets at all times. Maintains security of funds by wearing appropriate attire. Responsible for maintaining confidentiality at all times. Responsible for utilizing all safety equipment mandated for the position. Responsible for compliance with all department and company policies, procedures, internal controls and government rules and regulations. Promotes positive public and employee relations. Performs other duties as assigned.• High School Diploma or GED equivalent, with strong math skills.
• Physically strong.
• Must be able to work with others as a team player.
• Minimum 18 years old.
• No felony convictions.You must be able to work nights, weekends, and Holidays for this position.
