SEPTA is seeking experienced Electrical Electronic Specialists in our Railroad Division who would be responsible for the inspection, adjustment, repair replacement and overhaul of our rail vehicles and related accessories. Successful candidates must be proficient in the diagnosis, correction and repair of defects and malfunctions in various mechanical, electrical, electronic, logic, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
Job Requirements:
* High School diploma or GED
* Valid driver's license
* At least 2 years of relevant work experience in mechanical, electrical and electronic repair.
* Must have experience working from and making mechanical, electrical and electronic drawings.
* Knowledge of National Electrical Code, and ability to read and work from drawings and schematics a must.
* Own related hand tools.
* Selected applicants must also pass a written qualifying test to be administered at a future date.
Depending on experience. Specialists in our Railroad Division start from $19.82/hour to $24.80/hour.
