What is a Roundtable Group
Truth@Work’s Christian Roundtable Group is a monthly half-day gathering of Christian business owners, CEOs, Presidents, and key executives.
The model has been in existence for more than 10 years, and has served hundreds of Members.
The meetings are facilitated by a professionally trained Truth@Work Chapter President, who are well compensated for their efforts.
Each month, the roundtable Members:
Enjoy a “safe,” “confidential,” and “non- judgmental” place to share their challenges, problems, struggles, worries, doubts, and fears
Exchange ideas and “Best Practices” that bring exponential value to their business/organization
Have their very own Christian "board of advisors" to help them process their business issues through a Biblical world-view
Experience a COMMUNITY of people who truly “get it”- because they REALLY understand what each other are going through
Learn how to better handle tough issues with employees, customers, vendors, and competitors in a way that is consistent with their Christian faith
Study a proven curriculum featuring “Best Practices” that address a wide variety of topics such as hiring-firing-marketing-cash flow- leadership. etc.
Network with business leaders to make personal and professional connections with “like-minded” leaders
Be held accountable to balance the business, personal, and spiritual areas of their life
Portal Technology:
The Truth@Work Portal is the 24/7 delivery system in which Roundtable Members receive their monthly curriculum “homework,” participate in Discussion Forums, and interact with Truth@Work Members across the country. More than 3 years (and growing) of monthly meeting content is located on the portal.
Monthly Meeting Agenda
1. Truth@Work Curriculum – Truth@Work has developed an extensive library of segments on a wide variety of topics and issues that are designed to help Members improve business performance, enhance the key personal relationships in life, as well as grow in their walk with Christ. The first hour of each meeting is invested in a vigorous and meaningful discussion of the application of the curriculum.
2. Featured Member Presentation – One time each year, on a rotational basis, for 1 hour, Members share their “State of The Union” presentation, where they provide an in depth report on the status of their business/organization, and receive counsel, advice, and feedback on key issues, challenges, and opportunities.
3. Open Roundtable Discussion – Each month, Members have the opportunity to share the most critical problem, challenge, or opportunity they are facing. Valuable insight, counsel, and solutions are offered by other Members, and a time of prayer is offered to seek God’s guidance.
4. Personal Accountability/Business Planning- Each month participants are required to complete a personal and business assessment. They must also establish goals and commitments in all key areas of life (business, personal, family, spiritual) and are held accountable by the group to accomplish them.
