As a Permitting Manager, you will assist with administration of a broad range of zoning, permitting, and code research tasks. You are responsible for leading team members in other engineering disciplines to work on various stages of client projects during the site development and entitlement phase. This role requires significant exercise of judgment on crucial details and in making preliminary selection and adaptations of development alternatives. In this position you directly report to the Sr. Permitting and Planning Manager and you will be expected to train, assist and provide directions and instructions within the team. You will manage established timeframes and project deliverables to exceed the expectations of our clients.

In this role your key learning opportunitieswill include: developing advanced technical knowledge in your discipline; enhanced exposure to client relationship management and project management skills; enhancing your competency for managing and training others in your discipline; and working with various clients and projects in restaurant, retail and petroleum industry segments.

Minimum Experience:

  • Masters degree in Planning, Public Administration or related technical field
  • 3+ years work experience in civil engineering (site development)
  • American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) certification
